About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for developing new Japanese client relationships / expand business from existing Global Japanese names operating in Europe, including UK and Spain.
  • Coordinate with Global Bankers based in Japan, as well as other product partners, credit and RMs in Europe.
  • Communicate with Japanese / Local managers / decision makers of the companies and sell BBVA products in Europe.
  • Work closely with Global Banker’s team in Japan.
  • Execute loan / trade / cash related products, by coordinating with credit, support team, legal & compliance and operation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree holder in Business.
  • Over 15 years relevant experience of dealing with Japanese multi-national corporations.
  • Solid knowledge of loan / trade structuring and cash management.
  • Experience in Japanese mega banks or / and other major international bank.
  • Native or equivalent in written and spoken Japanese.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset.
  • Able to work in a matrix reporting structure, multi-functional and cross-culture environment.
  • Able to liaise and organize with various internal departments for identifying opportunities and closing transactions.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Business trip to European countries required.
