About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the execution of IT and Information Security risk management activities for the New York Office
Contribute to the annual risk assessment process
Coordinate with Second Line of Defense (Risk Control Specialists)
Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and support escalation of relevant risks and issues
Support control testing activities, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up
Contribute to regulatory and audit processes
Support the budgeting process (BAU and SDA initiatives)
Analyze Engineering activity through KPIs
Track organizational structure, including headcount and open roles
Prepare internal and external presentations
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual workload across reporting and control activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
4–7 years of relevant experience in IT risk, control assurance and business management functions
Solid understanding of risk and control frameworks (NIST, ISO, FFIEC, NYDFS) is a plus
Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve productivity and automate tasks is a must
Experience within financial services or a regulated environment is preferred
Experience supporting budgeting, financial tracking, or business performance monitoring
Familiarity with workforce management tools (e.g., Workday)
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure and interpret data effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate across multiple topics in a structured and organized manner
Languages: Spanish is a plus
Certifications: Relevant certifications (CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar) are a plus, but not required.
