About the role

  • Business origination: Develop and prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and industry analysis to support senior bankers in new business origination
  • Conduct company valuations using methodologies such as DCF, trading multiples, and precedent transactions
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic recommendations
  • Perform sector research, benchmarking, and peer comparisons to generate insights that inform strategic recommendations
  • Transaction execution: Assist in the execution of live transactions across different solutions (M&A, financing, and capital markets) alongside product teams
  • Contribute to internal approval processes, including preparation of materials for risk committees and transaction reviews
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met under tight deadlines
  • Management support: Help manage client relationships through follow-up tracking, targeting exercises, and preparation of tailored insights
  • Maintain client pipelines, internal databases, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Support internal committees with the preparation of business, client coverage plans, and sector strategy materials
  • Monitor industry newsflow, earnings announcements, and macroeconomic developments, preparing concise digests for bankers

Requirements

  • Strong academic background (Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fields)
  • Demonstrated interest and/or experience in investment banking and corporate finance
  • Strong technical foundation, with proficiency in valuation techniques, Excel and PowerPoint, financial databases (e.g. Bloomberg, Capital IQ); financial modelling skills are an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus
