About the role
- Manage the full lifecycle of bids and proposals, from opportunity qualification to submission and post-submission follow-up
- Analyze RFP/RFI requirements and develop a clear response strategy and win themes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, legal, finance, technical SMEs) to gather inputs and ensure alignment
- Write, edit, and tailor proposal content to meet client needs and evaluation criteria
- Maintain and update a library of reusable content, templates, and case studies
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, professionally formatted, and delivered on time
- Conduct post-bid reviews and lessons learned to improve future responses
- Track and report on bid progress, success rates, and pipeline metrics
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or sales operations
- Proven track record of managing and winning complex bids, ideally in IT, consulting, engineering, etc.
- Strong understanding of public and/or private sector procurement processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio, Qvidian) is a plus
- APMP certification is a strong advantage
