About the role
- Data Analysis and Architecture:
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze extensive datasets from various sources, including UNS, Data Lakes, and PLC Data.
- Develop and implement a robust data architecture framework to support efficient data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive models and algorithms.
- Create and maintain data visualizations and reports, ensuring they are insightful and actionable.
- Design and oversee the construction of an accessible data environment, enabling streamlined data extraction for analysis and dashboard creation.
- Train and guide team members in extracting and utilizing data from the established environment, fostering a data-centric culture within the organization.
- SQL Development and Data Management:
- Design, develop, and manage SQL scripts, queries, and database structures for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all SQL and database operations.
- IT/OT Systems Integration and Architecture
- Architect comprehensive IT/OT solutions, integrating systems like SCADA, MES, and ERP.
- Employ expertise in industrial automation systems design and implementation, particularly with Ignition software.
- Lead system integration projects to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
- Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Address data quality issues in collaboration with IT and other departments, establishing best practices.
- Business Insights and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business strategies and process improvements.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in data analysis, AI, ML, and related technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, SQL development, IT/OT architecture, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, Rust, R, and other relevant programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of IT/OT systems, including SCADA, MES, PLC, and ERP.
- Experience with AI and ML techniques and frameworks.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality principles, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
