About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the GIS Department Manager for work responsibilities, scheduling, and tasks
Perform office-based mapping tasks, map creation, data manipulation, analysis and technical problem solving
Create and manage ArcGIS Online Organization accounts and related content
Perform troubleshooting tasks
Manage geodata standards, clean up, and maintenance
Provide onsite work for municipal clients and field-based projects as needed
Develop and maintain custom maps, dashboards, and web/mobile applications
Support proposal preparation, client presentations and training, and demonstrations of GIS capabilities
Provide field-based services including but not limited to GPS data collection of new assets/as-builts, condition assessments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Remote Sensing or related field required
3+ years related professional experience in municipal government, utilities, or public works
Professional experience with current ArcGIS Pro releases and ArcGIS Online
Working knowledge of map design and end-user focused layout
Working knowledge of Public Works and municipal engineering services
Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Valid Drivers License
Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodmans east-coast Florida region
