About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct on-site observation of work, repairs, and testing
Observe, measure, and document construction activities
Coordinate construction activities with contractors and construction management team
Consult with Project Engineers and contractors on work progress and construction problems
Recommend alterations to development and design for project quality improvement
Maintain records of time, equipment, and material needs for changes in the work
Review and request adjustments of compensation and/or contract time

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years experience in construction management and/or public works management
Experience in the construction of municipal utility infrastructure projects
Ability to travel throughout the greater Houston area and contiguous counties
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
