About the role

  • As a (Junior) Product Data Manager (m/f/d), you are part of the Data Governance team within the Product Data department and manage our product data in the BAUHAUS online shop.
  • Together with your team, you develop international rules and standards as well as future-proof product data processes, and you oversee their implementation.
  • In day-to-day operations, you are responsible for expanding and optimizing the data structure of our products.
  • You continuously work to improve data quality and identify issues through data analysis.
  • You serve as an important interface to other departments and stakeholders, e.g., international Category Management, the Marketplace team, and IT.
  • You support experienced colleagues inside and outside the team on strategic projects such as the introduction of a new PIM system or the onboarding of a new country.

Requirements

  • In addition to a successfully completed degree (e.g., Business Administration, Social Sciences, Languages or similar), you bring strong enthusiasm for data (structures) and our products.
  • You have already gained professional experience in administering product data with PIM systems or in the field of Data Governance.
  • Initial experience in an e-commerce or marketplace environment is an advantage.
  • You have a strong quality mindset, can bring structure to (data) chaos, and maintain an eye for detail even when working with large volumes of data.
  • Your broad process understanding is a strength, as is your enthusiasm for technical contexts.
  • A structured, solution-oriented approach to work is one of your strengths.
  • You are a strong team player and have a confident command of both German and English.
Benefits
  • Flexibility for a healthy work-life balance: possibility to work remotely, flexible working hours outside core hours, 30 days of vacation plus up to 12 additional unpaid leave days.
  • Modern work environment on the BAUHAUS Campus: flexible workspaces with state-of-the-art equipment, an on-site BAUHAUS restaurant and bistro, and a BAUHAUS daycare.
  • Stability and security: permanent employment contract and attractive remuneration.
