Design, implement, and maintain highly available distributed infrastructure supporting the Basis DSP platform
Operate and optimize systems processing hundreds of billions of daily transactions
Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve operational efficiency
Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across critical production systems
Perform performance analysis and system tuning across Linux, networking, and application layers
Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
Ensure security, resiliency, and scalability across infrastructure and services
Partner with software engineering teams to improve system reliability and deployment processes
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
Strong Linux systems expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS or similar)
Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack)
Strong understanding of system scalability and high availability architectures (clustering, partitioning, load balancing)
Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across system, network, and application layers
Programming or scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
Experience operating database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
Experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting systems
Experience managing infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and on-premises
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
