About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full sales cycle (prospecting → discovery → demo → proposal → close) for enterprise and mid-market e-commerce accounts in Greece.
  • Build and activate pipeline through strategic partnerships (Trendyol cross-border, eMAG, Temu, etc) and cold outbound to new targets.
  • Run consultative discovery: assess each prospect's operational complexity (how many systems they touch to process one order, how much time is lost on reconciliation, how fast they can add a new channel) and tailor the pitch accordingly.
  • Deliver demos and value propositions tailored to each persona (GM/CEO: TCO & growth, CTO/IT: integrations & reliability, Ops: automation, CFO: real-time margin visibility).
  • Handle objections and negotiate commercial terms in coordination with leadership.
  • Maintain accurate, disciplined HubSpot CRM usage: correct stage, amount, and deal ownership, with no retroactive edits without clear justification.
  • Work closely with implementation for smooth handover after close
  • Represent base.com at key industry events in Greece.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of B2B experience in e-commerce, marketplace tech, or SaaS
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a new or growing market.
  • Strong understanding of the Greek e-commerce landscape and experience engaging retailers/brands at decision-maker level (GM, CEO, Director of e-commerce).
  • Strong discovery, negotiation, and multi-stakeholder deal management skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM discipline (HubSpot or equivalent): accurate stage tracking and forecasting.
  • Fluent Greek, very good English.
  • **Nice to Have**
  • Experience selling ERP, OMS/WMS, or marketplace management solutions.
  • Familiarity with the Skroutz / Trendyol / eMAG ecosystem, either as a seller or a technology partner.
  • Basic technical understanding of integrations (API/EDI/SFTP).
