Administer, monitor, and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN)
Configure and support network switches, routers, and wireless access points
Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and patching
Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues
Configure, manage, and monitor Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
Maintain firewall rules, VPNs, and network segmentation
Assist with incident response, security alerts, and remediation efforts
Support basic compliance and security best practices (e.g., access controls, logging)
Provide Tier 2 network support for internal users and systems
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations

Requirements

US Citizenship & ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
2–5 years of experience in a network administration or IT infrastructure role
Hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
Working knowledge of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
Managed switches and basic routing
VPN technologies (site-to-site and remote access)
Experience troubleshooting network and firewall issues in a production environment
Comfortable working on-site and supporting physical infrastructure
