About the role
- The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including:
- Managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Coordinating closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Senate Product Owner (PO) to align priorities and expectations
- Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensuring adherence to Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies and established project governance frameworks
- Overseeing project communications, including status reporting, stakeholder updates, and executive briefings
- Ensuring all deliverables meet defined quality standards and performance requirements
- Facilitating collaboration across cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, and business stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing IT implementation projects
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise system implementations, preferably PeopleSoft HCM
- Proven experience managing Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing projects involving payroll systems and/or financial system integrations
- Experience working in government or legislative environments (desired)
- Familiarity with federal project governance and compliance standards (desired)
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications (desired)
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
