About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist design team in machinery design from inception to completion
- Develop engineering specifications and original design concepts
- Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment
- Provide machine process audits and make recommendations
- Test and debug equipment to isolate defects
- Prepare layouts using CAD tools
- Evaluate moderately complex designs and make engineering changes
- Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOM for moderately complex equipment
- Support manufacturing/assembly teams
- May travel to customer site for technical assistance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 to 4 years of experience in field
- Eplan experience preferred
- Experience with PLC, HMI, Servo
- Manufacturing experience preferred
