Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in the application, design, development, project management and troubleshooting of OEM equipment.
Gain an understanding of engineering standards, products, systems, and procedures.
Perform needs analysis, initiate ideas, and evaluate new products, processes, or systems.
Assist in machinery design and the selection of components and materials.
Develop engineering specifications and original design concepts.
Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment.
Assist in machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies.
Test and debug equipment to isolate defects.
Prepare layouts using CAD tools.
Evaluate moderately complex designs; make engineering changes.
Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for less complex equipment.
Support assembly teams as needed.
May travel to customer site for technical assistance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
0 – 5 years of related experience
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts
Working knowledge of CAD (E-Plan and/or AutoCAD) and engineering systems.
Strong logical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel up to 15%.
