About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the North America sales strategy for the Modifications business
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and operations teams for seamless delivery of solutions
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports
- Represent Barry-Wehmiller at industry events and customer meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in industrial machinery, converting equipment, or aftermarket services
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery modifications and retrofits
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of directly managing and developing teams across multiple countries/regions
- Experience setting regional strategy and coaching remote team members
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Willingness to travel across North America
