About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing activities of the Electrical and Software Engineering teams supporting BWCS’s Vision product lines.
- Partner with engineering leadership to allocate resources for product development initiatives.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard engineering staff.
- Manage team workload, priorities, and engineering backlogs.
- Lead Design Reviews and mentor early-career engineers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with modern leadership and team development practices.
- Deep knowledge of electrical and software engineering principles and practices.
- Software knowledge including C, C++, C#, embedded, Windows, Linux, Git/Github.
- Vision processing experience including OpenCV, TensorFlow, YOLO.
- Experience with PCB design, layout, and test; Altium preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally.
