Key responsibilities & impact

The Procurement Leader – NPD/MCP is responsible for multiple supply chain projects, working with cross-functional teams and standard work to build and execute project implementation plans for NPD, cost savings, and continuous improvement projects
Responsible for coordinating with suppliers, commodity teams, purchasing, materials, operations, engineering, finance, quality, and field operations to complete projects and achieve expected benefits within project timeline
Partner with Platform teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements
Active participant in sector/plant NPD/ETO/MCP gate reviews ensuring that required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined
Responsible for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
10+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong understanding of the procurement process at an operational and leadership level
Experience in Supplier Negotiations & Sourcing Strategies
Knowledge of Should Cost Modeling highly preferred
Project Management experience highly preferred
