About the role

  • Lead and develop projects with clients across multiple industry sectors focused on Information Solutions
  • Technical project execution providing deliverables, schedule maintenance, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Interface with clients to define and manage scope on complex projects
  • Planning of project timeline, working with various Project Managers
  • Individual or team work with other Information Solutions Engineers
  • Designing SCADA systems including databases, data handling & reporting, and general programming
  • Onsite startup of systems developed
  • Understanding project requirements to develop/configure industrial control packages for manufacturing
  • Managing multiple scopes of work in various phases

Requirements

  • 7+ years of System Integration, SCADA and/or MES application development
  • Candidates with experience in the food and beverage or life science industries are preferred
  • Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, interaction with clients and vendors
  • Mentor and train less experienced engineers
  • Proven experience with Aveva Wonderware System Platform software
  • Expertise in Aveva Wonderware System Platform and at least one of the following SCADA platforms: Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or GE
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with MES software (Sepasoft, Aveva)
  • Understanding of back-end computing infrastructure used in manufacturing is a plus
  • Bachelor of Science – Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
