About the role
- Work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients
- Work with engineers, architects, designers, and other technical professionals to design custom processing systems for food and beverage, life science, personal care, advanced technology industry, and other industrial manufacturing operations
- Manage all aspects of project execution including proposal development and presentation, resources, budget, forecasting, scheduling, engineering, integration, installation, start-up, and closure
- Cultivate and maintain solid client relationships
- Lead the drive to expand the local and regional client base
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of project engineering management experience with packaging, automation, or manufacturing applications
- Experience in the food, beverage, dairy, or brewery industry (preferred)
- High speed beverage application and system integration experience (emphasis in safety systems) (preferred)
- Solid machinery application and computer software skills
- Contractor management skills (preferred)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience creating required project documentation
- A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions
- A bachelor of science in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or an equivalent technical degree
