About the role

  • Growing BW Flexible Systems business in assigned territories
  • Developing and implementing business strategies to expand client base and foster customer loyalty
  • Creating and implementing both short- and long-term sales objectives and strategies to meet customer needs
  • Increasing market share and maximizing product servicing
  • Researching markets and establishing strategic directions for growing sales with key accounts in target industries within North America
  • Securing new machinery orders for BW Flexible Systems machinery
  • Maintaining contact with current and potential customers to build strong relationships
  • Providing detailed information regarding customer requirements for accurate and timely sales proposals
  • Keeping abreast of competitive activity and customer needs
  • Assisting in the resolution of customer claims and ensuring resolution of customer complaints
  • Supporting and utilizing CRM software for accurate record-keeping
  • Developing and demonstrating knowledge of relevant finance mechanisms for conducting business in the region
  • Promoting company services to increase sales
  • Facilitating product demonstrations and identifying opportunities
  • Accurately forecasting quarterly sales activity and revenue achievement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred), or high school diploma/GED with minimum seven years related sales experience
  • Minimum of five years of business to business sales experience with capital equipment or packaging industry related items
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with various types of packaging machinery and systems used in the food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success (achievements, rankings, stats)
  • Experience selling into the packaging industry; or experience selling capital equipment
  • Technical or sales experience with complex feed systems and/or packaging machinery
  • Key account management experience with major consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies
  • Experience in packaging machinery wholesale business model working with distributors, resellers, agents, and lead finders
