About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish the overall vision for the VFX project that best meets the client’s creative and technical needs;
Work with the VFX Producer and Executive Producer to assist with bids;
Communicate the creative vision and translate the vision to objectives for the project team;
Collaborate with the VFX Producer to ensure that all assigned projects have a well-defined production schedule, adequate and appropriate resources, performance targets and milestones;
Monitor the creative process, including daily reviews of assets and shots, providing regular feedback and guidance to team members;
Alongside the VFX Producer, regularly review project budgets and manage resources to keep projects on time and within budget;
Ensure regular communication of status of projects and maintain an ongoing positive and collaborative working relationship with clients;

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in visual effects
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
Experience working with Shotgun project management software
Excellent knowledge of the VFX Production process from concept to delivery
