About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish the overall vision for the VFX project that best meets the client’s creative and technical needs;
  • Work with the VFX Producer and Executive Producer to assist with bids;
  • Communicate the creative vision and translate the vision to objectives for the project team;
  • Collaborate with the VFX Producer to ensure that all assigned projects have a well-defined production schedule, adequate and appropriate resources, performance targets and milestones;
  • Monitor the creative process, including daily reviews of assets and shots, providing regular feedback and guidance to team members;
  • Alongside the VFX Producer, regularly review project budgets and manage resources to keep projects on time and within budget;
  • Ensure regular communication of status of projects and maintain an ongoing positive and collaborative working relationship with clients;

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in visual effects
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working with Shotgun project management software
  • Excellent knowledge of the VFX Production process from concept to delivery
