About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Request registration in internal systems, ensuring data accuracy;
- Monitor personal schedule of deadlines and daily actions;
- Draft legal pleadings and submit them for review;
- Perform legal case analysis and support drafting of pleadings;
- Send updates to clients regarding case progress;
- Request powers of attorney and supporting documents for drafting pleadings;
- Review low-complexity pleadings and indicate necessary changes;
- Organize and prepare case documents and carry out filings;
- Upload pleadings and filing receipts to CPJ and the client folder;
- Review and implement actions indicated in CPJ;
- Support the preparation and delivery of reports for clients and audits;
- Conduct conciliation hearings;
- Draft medium- and high-complexity legal pleadings and submit them for review;
- Conduct evidentiary and trial proceedings;
- Participate in client meetings to provide technical guidance;
- Enter billing instructions based on work performed;
- Conduct doctrinal and case law research;
- Participate in trainings and internal initiatives for professional development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Law (postgraduate degree related to the practice is desirable);
- More than 5 years of experience as an attorney in litigation;
- Knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property is a differential/plus;
- Specific knowledge: CPJ, electronic case management systems, Word / Excel – basic;
- Skills: proactivity, organization, teamwork.
