About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Epic Bridges Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and support of Epic Bridges interfaces and interoperability solutions across the organization.
  • The role serves as the primary subject matter expert for healthcare data exchange, system integrations, interface development, and interoperability workflows, ensuring seamless communication between Epic and internal and external systems.
  • The Epic Bridges Analyst partners closely with operational leaders, application analysts, integration engineers, clinical stakeholders, revenue cycle teams, vendors, and technical teams to design and support secure, reliable, and scalable interface solutions.
  • The position plays a critical role in enabling data exchange, supporting patient care workflows, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and organizational interoperability strategies through Epic Bridges and related technologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 years of healthcare information technology, application support, systems integration, interface development, or Epic-related experience, required.
  • 1 year of experience with systems analysis, interface troubleshooting, testing, and technical documentation, required.
  • 1 year of experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, or large-scale healthcare technology projects, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with Cloverleaf, Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or other interface engines, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with SQL, data analysis, and database concepts, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience supporting clinical, revenue cycle, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, or third-party system integrations, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience working within integrated healthcare delivery systems, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer engineering, computer science, health informatics, health information management, information technology, information systems, or other related field, required OR, four years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Epic certification or ability to attain Epic certification(s) in assigned module(s) within a defined timeframe to be determined at time of hire.
