About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the daily administration Leave of Absence and Disability benefits in partnership with the Leave/Disability administration vendor to ensure compliance with applicable laws and leave/disability policies.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between employees, leaders and the Leave/Disability vendor with regard to leave and disability benefit processes, questions or concerns, leave of absence and disability benefit issues and recommends solutions.
  • Other responsibilities include preparing, reviewing and analyzing leave/disability data reports and sharing data with key internal customers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
  • AA degree preferred.
  • Experience in benefits or disability management, including administering family medical leaves, workers compensation, and short and long term disability benefits.
  • Human Resources experience required.
  • Payroll experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Excellent written, verbal and organization skills required.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with Human Resources management systems such as Lawson, Oracle/PeopleSoft, Kronos Workforce and Central HR Systems preferred.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
