Manager – Community Impact, Government Relations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute governmental relations strategies
- Serve as a liaison between Baptist Health Care and local, state, and federal officials
- Monitor legislative and regulatory activity affecting healthcare delivery
- Prepare policy briefings and advocacy materials
- Coordinate site visits and public events
- Support executive leadership in advocacy initiatives
- Collaborate with internal leaders to ensure coordinated advocacy efforts
- Manage Baptist Health Care’s involvement with the Northwest Florida Business Alliance (NWFLBA)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree Political Science, Public Health, Public Relations, Related field Required
- Master's Degree Political Science, Public Health, Public Relations, Related field Preferred
- 5 years Experience in governmental relations, community relations, community outreach, or public affairs. Required
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Positive and team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach
- Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups of people
- Ability to think strategically
- Strong skills in Power Point, Word and Excel.
