About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for pre-registration, registration, payer identification and verification
- Referral to financial counseling and point of service collections
- Ensure accuracy of data gathered and entered into computer systems

- Collect patient's financial responsibility at point of service

Requirements
What you’ll need- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree in healthcare or business-related field preferred
- Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) desirable
- At least 2 years’ experience in a medical or hospital patient access or financial services environment preferred
- Training experience a plus
- Knowledge of government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
