About the role
- Analysis of financial statements (HGB, IFRS) and rating reports of domestic and international capital market participants for the qualified assessment of counterparty default risks
- Preparation and endorsement of well-founded decision proposals following requests from the Capital Markets division
- Monitoring of the capital markets business with respect to counterparty, issuer and country limits, including preparation and commentary on limit exceedances based on regulatory and internal bank requirements
- Analysis of annual reports and key metrics of investment funds with regard to their risk profile and ability to service obligations
- Support in the implementation of product innovations within the Capital Markets division, such as credit substitution transactions or securitization deals
- Cross-departmental coordination with Risk Controlling, Treasury, Accounting and other specialist departments on Capital Markets products
- Participation in cross-functional projects, e.g., related to regulatory requirements or the development of business areas
Requirements
- Completed banking training and/or a degree in economics or business administration combined with strong expertise in the lending/credit business, particularly in the analysis of complex financial statements
- Very good command of English
- Analytical and commercial/business-minded thinking and approach
- Good self-organization and strong technical aptitude
- Strong team orientation and flexibility
