About the role

  • Support in (international) transaction processes in Mergers & Acquisitions, Growth Capital, Financial & Debt Advisory
  • Preparation of pitch materials and marketing documents (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations)
  • Company, market and competitor analyses, including research on target companies, competitors, markets and potential investors
  • Development of financial models, execution of financial analyses and company valuations using standard methodologies (including listed comparables and precedent transaction multiples, DCF method)
  • Participation in acquisition, client and investor meetings
  • Support in setting up and maintaining (virtual) project data rooms
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues in the department (M&A/Growth/Financial Advisory) and other areas of the bank

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree in economics, business administration or a comparable field; international experience is an advantage
  • Relevant internships and (initial) transaction experience in corporate finance, investment banking or transaction/financial advisory
  • Strong analytical skills; experience in financial modeling and good communication skills are beneficial
  • High level of commitment, independence, structured working style and team orientation
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and additional experience with transaction tools such as FactSet, PitchBook or Mergermarket
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
