About the role
- Lead, develop and manage associate veterinarians in hospitals to ensure quality care delivery.
- Drive culture and veterinary operations delivery in assigned hospitals through partnerships with Practice Managers.
- Validate clinical skillsets and alignment with quality standards through audits and reviews.
- Manage physician engagement and retention strategies ensuring a supportive culture for success.
- Deliver veterinary operations KPIs and accountability for the performance in assigned hospitals.
- Act as a brand ambassador within local veterinary communities; partner with recruitment teams for talent acquisition.
- Oversee coaching programs for new veterinarians ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent foreign degree required.
- Veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure with all applicable state veterinary boards for assigned hospitals.
- 3 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery practice.
