About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in monthly accounting close routines, ensuring deadlines and the quality of information;
Support the preparation of account reconciliations, investigating and resolving identified discrepancies;
Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of internal accounting controls;
Support the preparation of information for financial statements and management reports;
Assist with internal and external audits by organizing documents and evidence;
Help monitor accounting and regulatory standards (BACEN, IFRS);
Support the analysis and accounting of financial transactions (assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses);
Participate in process improvement and automation projects within the accounting area;
Ensure the integrity of accounting entries in internal systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
Basic knowledge of general accounting and accounting principles;
Familiarity with account reconciliation routines;
Excel skills (advanced level – formulas, pivot tables);
Knowledge of IFRS and BACEN regulations is desirable;
Experience with accounting systems or financial ERPs is desirable;
Previous experience (internship or full-time) in accounting, controllership or finance will be considered a plus.
