About the role

  • Perform accounting and financial reconciliations for investment funds by comparing system records, positions and movements, ensuring consistency and integrity of information.
  • Validate the correct accounting classification of assets, liabilities and results, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and consistency in account composition.
  • Identify inconsistencies arising from processing errors, incorrect securities/master data registrations and postings to incorrect accounts, performing critical analysis of detected discrepancies.
  • Actively manage discrepancy resolution through ongoing interaction with partner areas such as processing, controllership and operations, ensuring proper correction of inconsistencies.
  • Request and follow up on master data adjustments and system corrections, ensuring the regularization of identified inconsistencies and the quality of processed information.
  • Support the standardization of reconciliation routines, contributing to continuous process improvement and increased operational efficiency.
  • Ensure traceability of analyses performed by adequately documenting evidence, justifications and actions taken.
  • Contribute to the monthly accounting close by ensuring that all sources are properly reconciled, consistent and ready for reporting.
  • Assist in analyzing the impacts of adjustments made to funds, evaluating effects on accounting and financial positions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in progress or completed in Accounting (preferred); Business Administration; Economics or related fields
  • Knowledge of investment funds
  • Previous experience with account reconciliations
  • Intermediate Excel (filters, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
