About the role

  • Analyze reconciled accounting information, ensuring consistency in the composition of the funds' financial statements, with a focus on correct reading and interpretation of the data.
  • Support the structuring of financial statements, organizing balances appropriately between assets, liabilities and profit/loss, ensuring consistency between the underlying records and the final presentation.
  • Assist in validating information, identifying significant variances, inconsistencies or misalignments between the reported figures and the funds' activity.
  • Assist in preparing explanatory notes, contributing to the clarity, transparency and technical substantiation of reported information.
  • Liaise with internal teams to clarify queries and implement necessary adjustments, acting as a link between the operational base and the final delivery of the statements.
  • Participate in meetings with auditors and managers.
  • Monitor the accounting close process from the perspective of final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of reported information.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the financial statement preparation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Accounting (preferred); Business Administration; Economics; or related fields
  • Knowledge of structuring financial statements for investment funds
  • Practical experience working with funds or asset portfolios
  • Intermediate Excel (filters, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
