About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop the strategy and implementation plan for firm-wide learning for the assigned client group
  • Provide learning solutions that improve performance, drive business outcomes, and meet continuing professional education requirements
  • Develop and grow relationships with service line and Professional Practice Group leadership and stakeholders
  • Use performance consulting skills to identify learning needs for the portfolio
  • Design, maintain, and evolve the firm-wide learning curriculum portfolio
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts and leverage best practices and future-focused innovations
  • Create and execute an annual curriculum portfolio plan, monitoring work plans and milestones
  • Own the curriculum portfolio for the assigned client group
  • Lead curriculum and program design, delivery, and evaluation teams
  • Lead direct reports and learning team members through advocacy, coaching, mentoring, and training
  • Oversee budgeting, resources, facilitator recruitment and management, delivery management, communications, evaluation, reporting, and vendor relationships
  • Partner with Learning and People Team colleagues to ensure consistency across firm learning and people initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in learning or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of Learning and Development experience or related experience in a complex organization required
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing others
  • Demonstrated involvement building and leading high performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
  • Baker Tilly will not consider candidates requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experience developing and implementing learning strategy and operations for technical content
  • Experience with adult learning principles and learning curriculum and content design and development in multiple learning modalities
  • Strong project management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with Learning Management Systems, online course creation tools, and webinar/virtual classroom platforms
  • Strong executive presence and ability to develop relationships and interface effectively with all firm levels
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10%
