About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver high value structured finance consulting to project sponsors
  • Support the structuring of NMTC transactions
  • Prepare executive summaries and marketing materials to source NMTC allocations and investments
  • Coordinate with Community Development Entities, investors, lenders, and other financing partners
  • Assist with sourcing and negotiating financing term sheets
  • Develop financial models and analyses
  • Gather, organize, and analyze project due diligence materials
  • Support project management throughout the financing process
  • Assist with transaction closing and financing documentation
  • Work closely with Baker Tilly Principals and Senior Managers
  • Collaborate with client executives, lenders, investors, legal counsel, Community Development Entities, and other financing partners throughout the transaction lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree
  • 3 years professional experience
  • At least two or more years of experience in finance, lending, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience with NMTCs, commercial lending, or community development financing
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and evaluate operating performance
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and continuous professional learning
  • Willingness to work regularly from a Baker Tilly office, with limited remote flexibility and occasional short-duration travel
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship
