About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, support and deliver Inflation Reduction Act service offerings, including domestic content bonus tax credit analysis and foreign entity of concern analysis
  • Assist on management consulting projects for private and public sector energy and infrastructure organizations
  • Support strategic planning, project feasibility, financial management reporting, budget preparation and analysis, capital project planning and comprehensive financial planning
  • Serve on client projects and assist in managing client relationships
  • Document and analyze processes, internal controls and workflows to identify improvement opportunities
  • Research best practices, operational policies and organizational design
  • Test control effectiveness and compliance with laws, regulations and policies
  • Interview clients to understand processes and recommend improvements
  • Support project staff in day-to-day service delivery
  • Develop articles, sales proposals and presentations for business development and client purposes
  • Network and build strong relationships
  • Occasionally travel, mostly same-day travel within the state

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree
  • 3 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, business, accounting, supply chain, engineering or manufacturing-related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Inflation Reduction Act 2022 energy tax credits and IRS guidance, including Domestic Content bonus credits and Foreign Entity of Concern compliance preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
  • Skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration and problem solving
  • Organizational and analytical skills, initiative and adaptability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Involvement with a professional organization
  • Experience building financial models incorporating income statements and cash flows to support business decisions
  • Experience with core financial processes such as monthly close and financial reporting
