About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various tax and advisory services to nonprofits
  • Provide tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to tax-exempt organizations
  • Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues
  • Partner with tax leaders on complex nonprofit tax engagements and special projects
  • Develop recommendations for clients and share with leadership
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships
  • Support the growth and development of team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree
  • License eligible CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent Preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience providing federal tax compliance, preferably in the nonprofit tax area
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
  • Microsoft Suite skills
  • Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
