About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist Managers and Partners in engagement management of clients
Conduct financial due diligence on middle-market companies
Work directly with client leaders and strategic clients
Perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence as well as M&A tax activities
Conduct analytical reviews of data and prepare findings
Create draft reports for management review
Research issues that arise during the course of engagement
Build relationships with existing clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or related field required
Master’s degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred
CPA or licensed attorney preferred
Minimum of 2 years of related experience required, preferably with a public accounting firm or law firm
Previous experience in tax due diligence and merger and acquisitions tax consulting preferred
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
Must be willing and able to travel to client locations up to 50%
