About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist Managers and Partners in engagement management of clients
- Conduct financial due diligence on middle-market companies
- Work directly with client leaders and strategic clients
- Perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence as well as M&A tax activities
- Conduct analytical reviews of data and prepare findings
- Create draft reports for management review
- Research issues that arise during the course of engagement
- Build relationships with existing clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or related field required
- Master’s degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred
- CPA or licensed attorney preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience required, preferably with a public accounting firm or law firm
- Previous experience in tax due diligence and merger and acquisitions tax consulting preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
- Must be willing and able to travel to client locations up to 50%
