About the role
- Perform daily and weekly accounting tasks, including accounts payable (P2P), accounts receivable (O2C), bank reconciliations, and expense management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other key reports for clients.
- Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Accurately classify, record, and summarize financial data, ensuring the integrity of financial records.
- Work closely with the engagement team and client contacts to gather information, clarify requirements, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Support the creation and maintenance of standardized desktop procedures and process documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving accounting issues and discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Relevant internship; 2 years professional work experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus.
- Experience in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
