About the role
- Perform FP&A assessments to provide clients with findings and recommendations related to their budget and forecasting process, timeline, formulation, performance monitoring, and business intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Work with clients to develop a roadmap that encompasses an overall solution vision and effectively communicate initiatives across the entire project team.
- Identify new areas within the client’s financial close and planning processes where OneStream can be better utilized to drive business results and increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize application expertise, business knowledge, and technical skills to successfully lead the discovery, requirements, design, build, test, and deployment of OneStream solutions to Baker Tilly clients.
- Lead client workshops to gather requirements and build client design documentation for OneStream applications and solutions.
- Guide the development and deployment of technical solutions and facilitate OneStream solution and architecture reviews, garnering cross-division solution alignment.
- Oversee testing including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with clients to design and develop best-in-class business intelligence, dashboards, reports & analytics.
- Collaborate with client leadership on Baker Tilly engagement management.
- Remain current with advancements in OneStream’s core platform, new marketplace solutions, and AI capabilities.
- Unleash and amplify talent of junior staff by supporting the development of training programs, leading training sessions, and coaching team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems or a closely related field.
- Experience working with a leading financial planning and consolidation software (EPM/CPM solution) – OneStream or Oracle EPM/PBCS highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years working in the FP&A area of a government contractor.
- Knowledge of government contracting cost accounting standards, cost principles, contract vehicles, and project-based accounting.
- Experience working with Deltek Costpoint or another government contracting ERP software is a plus.
- Understanding of the financial close and consolidation process including account reconciliation process, currency translations, intercompany eliminations, top-side entries, and financial statements is a plus.
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
