About the role
- Design, develop, and implement structured learning paths for Baker Tilly business developers and principals.
- Create and manage a comprehensive approach to assess sales knowledge and skills, identify gaps and track improvement.
- Develop engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, and blended learning programs (self-study, virtual, and in-person).
- Incorporate best practices from leading sales methodologies into training programs and enablement content.
- Establish clear learning objectives, create project plans, and manage a rolling curriculum calendar for continuous learning opportunities.
- Select methods and technologies that maximize relevance, retention, and learner engagement for remote-first environments.
- Enhance sales enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot) with learning resources, messaging guides, discovery questions, objection handling, and sales plays.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of business development-related learning initiatives using data-driven insights.
- Analyze learner feedback and performance data to refine curriculum and improve learning outcomes.
- Develop communication plans and content to ensure visibility and adoption of enablement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years in instructional design, preferably in sales enablement or corporate training.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment with minimal oversight.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ideally with experience as a content creator or facilitator.
- Experience creating skill assessments and competency frameworks.
- Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, Systematic Learning, Bob Pike).
- Experience leading train-the-trainer sessions.
- Analytical mindset with experience in measuring training effectiveness and ROI.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce), sales methodologies (Challenger, SPIN), and remote learning strategies.
