About the role
- Help clients capitalize on strategic ideas and planning techniques for state and local tax compliance
- Ensure business development, client service, reporting, invoicing, and collections
- Oversee the management of Managers and Analysts in a positive manner
- Conduct on-site inspection of client properties and operations when necessary
- Maintain excellent knowledge of all real and personal property tax laws, regulations, and court decisions
- Present findings and make recommendations to clients
- Develop talent at the Manager level by providing constructive feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Certification required
- 6+ years’ experience in property tax consulting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain appropriate certifications
- Ability to meet travel requirements of the job
