About the role
- Provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to clients to meet complex financial needs
- Clients include privately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, mezzanine funds, banks, and business development companies
- Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management
- Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports
- Research and financial analysis of target companies
- Due diligence for buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions
- Communicate with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service
- Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm
- Opportunities for career development and advancement within the transaction advisory services group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred
- Between two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a mid to large size professional services firm performing audits and related services
- At least two (2) years of transaction services / due diligence experience
- Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus
- High motivation, initiative and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
- Intermediate modeling and Excel skills; experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
- Ability to comfortably interact with senior level client personnel and participate in executive briefings
