About the role

  • Provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to clients to meet complex financial needs
  • Clients include privately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, mezzanine funds, banks, and business development companies
  • Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management
  • Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports
  • Research and financial analysis of target companies
  • Due diligence for buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions
  • Communicate with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service
  • Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm
  • Opportunities for career development and advancement within the transaction advisory services group

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred
  • Between two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a mid to large size professional services firm performing audits and related services
  • At least two (2) years of transaction services / due diligence experience
  • Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus
  • High motivation, initiative and positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
  • Intermediate modeling and Excel skills; experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
  • Ability to comfortably interact with senior level client personnel and participate in executive briefings
