About the role
- Managing the planning and consenting process for NSIP schemes from early development through submission and decision
- Leading and coordinating DCO (Development Consent Order) or DNS (Developments of National Significance) applications
- Overseeing and contributing to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes
- Managing consultant teams, programmes, and budgets during the consenting phase
- Supporting clients through statutory consultation and stakeholder engagement
- Providing strategic advice to ensure projects progress efficiently towards FID
Requirements
- Proven experience managing or supporting projects through a DCO or DNS application
- Expert-level understanding of the NSIP planning regime
- Direct involvement in EIA applications and coordination of technical inputs
- Experience working on major infrastructure or large-scale development projects
- Project management qualifications (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, PMP) or demonstrable project management experience
- Background in planning consultancy, project management consultancy, engineering, or client-side infrastructure delivery
