Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team that analyzes, evaluates, and monitors investments across our strategies
Conceive and execute in-depth industry, competitive, and financial analyses in order to formulate and test differential investment hypotheses
Perform company and industry research: visit company management, do field research (with customers, suppliers, and others likely to have unique insight into a company’s or industry’s fundamentals), and attend appropriate industry/Wall Street conferences
Make proactive buy/sell recommendations and communicate investment views effectively with appropriate team members
Identify and evaluate attractive investment ideas, primarily in the public markets, but also selective private market investments
Manage the workload, responsibilities and development of analysts/associates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong academic credentials
6+ years of professional experience ideally in an investment management firm, investment banking, sell-side research, public or private investing, and/or management consulting role
A fundamentals-driven, “bottom up” investing style with strong analytical/modeling capability
Experience interacting with and assessing senior management teams; demonstrated relationship-building and networking skills
Ability to anticipate and identify company, industry, and market developments and support insights with research and analysis
Excellent communication skills; able to synthesize complicated analyses concisely and to articulate insightful conclusions compellingly.
