About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and assess supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans through implementation and closure, ensuring timely and effective resolution of quality issues.
Conduct supplier audits, champion Structured Problem-Solving efforts with Suppliers, perform Production Process Verifications (PPV’s), and participate in PPAP review processes.
Analyze supplier defect/performance data and utilize analytical tools to identify trends and drive preventative measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Quality – to proactively mitigate risks and ensure supplier compliance.
Champion a proactive quality culture within the supply base with APQP principles and tools.
Review and interpret technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, and requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with 4-8+ years of experience or 8-10+ years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Possess Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Communicates effectively at all levels of an organization with interpersonal relationship building skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Change agent driven towards Continuous Improvement and achieving Results
Read and interpret technical documents, as well as a working knowledge of GD&T
Proficiency in MS Office Suits (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of the principles and the purpose of a Quality Management System (AS9100)
Proficient in data analytics.
