About the role
- Ensure that the shift handover brief is prepared and delivered to the incoming shift
- Monitor, triage, analyse and investigate alerts and conduct incident investigations
- Categorise all suspected incidents in line with the Security Incident policy
- Write up high quality security incident tickets
- Support major incident response and remediation activities
- Produce security incident review reports
Requirements
- Strong understanding of security operations
- Detection engineering expertise
- Broad experience across Azure, AWS, and ESXi technologies
- Basic Python and/or scripting skills
- Experience using Splunk and Sentinel
- Client side consulting including stakeholder engagement
- Hold suitable SAN certifications, such as GCFA, GCFE, GCFR as examples
- Penetration testing skills are desirable
