About the role
- Work as a Frontend developer on a geospatial-related application within an agile development team
- Design and implement responsive web interfaces using React, TypeScript and related technologies
- Write clean, modular, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests adhering to best practices
- Support high level estimation and sprint planning following agile methodologies
- Debug and resolve issues raised by clients and the test team
- Support integration with backend systems and interfaces (Java experience an advantage)
- Deliver engineering services for defence and cybersecurity clients from the Malaysian Global Delivery Centre
Requirements
- 3+ years' relevant work experience (high-performing graduates considered with hands-on coding)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.00
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Experience designing responsive web interfaces and writing comprehensive unit tests
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning and high-level estimation
- Ability to debug issues raised by clients and test teams
- Java experience advantageous for backend integration
- Strong English communication and presentation skills for international audiences
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
