About the role

  • Monitor the QA team's daily activities, providing technical and operational support
  • Distribute tasks, balance workload and ensure a sustainable pace within squads
  • Monitor task execution, ensuring deadlines, quality and acceptance criteria are met
  • Track operational metrics (productivity, defects, throughput, lead time, test coverage)
  • Actively integrate with Development, Analysis and Support squads, aligning priorities and dependencies
  • Identify, record, track and report risks, non-conformities and deviations
  • Organize and prioritize the QA backlog according to criticality and project impact
  • Support test planning, effort estimates, functional validations and story reviews
  • Contribute to standardizing processes and aligning QA practices across teams
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate on continuous improvement of internal processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science or related fields
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, functional and/or non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and management tools (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Proven ability to monitor and distribute tasks within cross-functional teams
  • Experience creating test plans, acceptance criteria and effort estimates
  • Ability to identify, record and communicate non-conformities, risks and impediments
  • Analytical skills to monitor productivity, performance and quality metrics
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and versioning practices
  • Organizational skills, clear communication, sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
