About the role

  • Your role is vital to the safe execution of critical risk activities.
  • You’ll be involved in the successful planning, coordination and monitoring of the critical risk activities within the Marine business of Babcock.
  • Importantly, you’ll conduct compliance such that all permits are issued and Critical Risk activities are in line with Babcock processes.
  • Your proactivity is vital as by the simple definition of Safety, things happen without warning and you need to be able to react, support and lead under pressure.
  • This role is based at Henderson, WA.

Requirements

  • It is a requirement of this position that you hold a current Drivers’ Licence and be eligible to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
  • You will bring all the relevant tickets and licences as well as experience in a similar environment. These will include: Certificate IV in Health and Safety Management; Certificate III Fire Warden; Current First Aid Certificate; and Previous experience in an HSE Advisor position.
  • Your experience in training and support will be called upon.
