About the role

  • Act as a trusted partner to Program Managers, senior leaders, and Defence customers, providing financial insight, analysis, and guidance that drives strategic and commercial outcomes.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, reporting, and compliance, ensuring strong financial controls are in place while identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance.
  • Support existing contracts and play a key role in shaping new business opportunities, helping to implement financial structures for upcoming projects.

Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in CA/CPA.
  • Extensive experience as a finance manager or a role similar in skill and responsibility in a large corporate environment preferably within the Defence Industry.
  • Extensive experience in financial business partnering, including leadership of teams and strategic financial planning across complex environments.
